I have a crap-ton of homework this week, and after spending the morning doing completely boring things like working out and going to the library, I decided to dress up a lil' for school. 'Cause I can.

I realized that the T by Alexander Wang boatneck dress that I was coveting is very similar to a James Perse dress I already own. So I busted this out for today:

New Shoes Cure the Blues

Last night I was feelin' kinda lonely since the BF left, so instead of going to the gym or doing my homework, I bought some shoes. I would like to point out that they were shoes on incredible sale on www.davidz.com, a New-York based shoe store. (Good thing I am in the midst of a nice chunk of eBay money from the sale of old possessions).

I got these Dolce Vita Black Leather Boots for..... Wait for it..... $30! I know!






I got these Jeffrey Campbell Studded Heels, that are dead ringers for the Gucci Babouska heels. I was considering these last summer, and then I saw them on sale, so duh! Had to get them. Guess which ones are which:

I Loooove Chelsea Handler

So I went with my new grad-school friend to a taping of Chelsea Lately. I've been before and its a blast and half. This time, I brought her book "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea" and she signed it. I also have her first books "My Horizontal Life". I HEART Chelsea and Chuy. I found out where she gets her nails done in the Marina..... I think I shall also get my nails done there now. I've got a night-full of homework so enjoy your freedom kiddies, I'll be studying.

PS. Can we please stop talking about how J Simp got fat? She's in love, she put on a couple pounds, it happens to everyone. You realize it, and stop eating out every night. Get off her A!

Reading "Confessions of a Shoe Girl" has inspired me to amp up my regular shoe habit. If she can wear fiercely high heels daily, I can wear them tri-weekly. New goal. I can afford to make my legs look longer. Believe me.

Super Bowl Sunday?

Its gorgeous out, and the BF and I went to breakfast, and then he hit the road. It's ok, he's coming back on Friday with my whole family! Since I don't give a crap about football (sorry Cardinals), I went to the gym, Whole Foods, and Staples. Someone tell me who won.
