I heart Sundays. I made the boyf and I pancakes for breakfast, and then we set off for the Melrose & Fairfax flea market. I'd driven by but never actually went, so I paid my $1 student ID fee and wandered around the most amazing vintage clothes, furniture, jewelery, bags, and trinkets for a couple hours. There were even some boutiques that had closed on Melrose selling the rest of their merchandise. I only got a new small $5 gold necklace to wear with my daily Dogeared ones, but I'm wishing I would have gotten some of the clothes; I just get wary of vintage because I have cleanliness issues.
Across the street was the American Apparel sidewalk sale that they're having all summer, but honestly, all the stuff was kind of crap, and still $12-20. Not worth it.
After lunch at M de Chaya where I had a delish ahi tuna burger (if you're thinking about my less-meat resolution, I don't feel like fish counts.... Right ;)???), we walked around Melrose and then 3rd and the Grove looking for new eyeglasses for the super discerning boyfriend but he still can't find any. His criteria is getting ridiculous.
WEARING:
Wildfox Crop Tank (got at the Lindsay Lou Memorial Day sale for $38)
Victoria's Secret Black Bra (poking out armpits, obv on purpose)
Current/Elliott White Boyfriend Jeans (The magic of eBay, although they are WAY too big and require serious belt help)
Michael Kors Gold Pyramid Stud Belt
Dolce Vita Phoenix Gladiator Booties
