Luckily I had a Friday Day-o-fun: morning walk by the sea, exploring Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice (something I regrettably hadn't done yet), going to lunch at Blue Plate Oysterette, watching the sunset on a beach in Malibu, making homemade pizza for dinner (with a hefty amount of wine) and then seeing "The September Issue" (it was good. "Valentino: The Last Emperor" was better.)
It made up for today.
